On selecting the Meaningful Use Stage-2 Report tab, the Core and Menu Set measures that have Yes/No attestations appear on the screen. The user can opt for the Yes option wherever applicable to satisfy MU-2 criteria for the respective core and measures.
On the top of the screen, the user can select the criteria (facility, provider, and period) based on which the MU-2 report is to be generated.
Note:
• | The logged-in provider is selected by default. |
• | If any user other than provider is logged in, the Provider drop-down will remain blank. The user has to select the provider in that case. |
• | By default, the most recent 3-month period is selected. Users can change it according to their requirement. |
Upon clicking the Save & Generate Report button, the report is generated.
The report header displays the MU stage number (1 or 2) for which the report is generated, along with the practice address and phone and fax numbers. On the top left of the report, the InSync version number that attained the MU certification is shown. The certification number appears in the grid header. The criteria which you have selected to generate the report appear on the top of the grid for quick review.
The values displayed in the Denominator column corresponding to each objective indicate the number of patient records that could have qualified to fulfill MU-2 criteria. The blue Denominator link below lists the corresponding patient records.
The values displayed in the Numerator column corresponding to each objective indicate the number of patient records that have actually fulfilled MU-2 criteria. The blue Numerator link below lists the corresponding patient records.
The Achieved % column represents the percentage of qualified instances.
The green tick mark iconindicates that the achieved percentage to fulfill MU-2 criteria for that objective meet with the required percentage as mentioned in CMS guidelines.
The Required % column shows the actual percentage required to fulfill MU-2 criteria. The blue Non-qualifying Instances link below lists the patient records that could have met the MU-2 criteria. Basically, this list is the difference between Denominator and Numerator.
The blue Help link provides the detailed information that includes criteria to record denominator and numerator values and how to increase the denominator and numerator in InSync, which can be followed to achieve MU-2 criteria.
